Suat Sarıgül completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. He started his professional career in 2007 as an Assistant Tax Inspector and was appointed as a Tax Inspector in 2011 after successfully passing the proficiency exam.

Between 2011 and 2017, he undertook administrative duties in the establishment and organization stages of the Tax Inspection Board, which was established in 2011 with the Decree Law No. 646. Between 2017 and 2018, he served as the “Revenue Administration Group Manager” at the Ankara Tax Office. He was appointed as acting “Board Chairman” of the Tax Inspection Board on February 28, 2019, and as principal with the Presidential Decree numbered 2020/57 on February 03, 2020, and served in this position until May 20, 2021. He has a Certified Public Accountant license. He has many articles published in various journals on tax, economics and accounting, and is the author of the book "General Accounting with Tax Aspects", which is in its fifth edition. He is married and has three children.
