In 2003, he worked as Assistant Telecom Specialist at Türk Telekom and between 2008 and 2014 he served as International Transmission Planning and Design Manager. Simultaneously, between 2005-2009, he took part in standard preparation studies as a technical rapporteur in the Machinery preparation group at TSE.
He worked at Hitachi Rail STS SpA. (formerly ANSALDO STS SpA.) as Deputy Project Manager / Turkey Project Manager for Metro Ankara signaling systems and on-board systems project between 2014-2017.
In 2017, he joined to Turkish Nuclear Energy Corporation (TÜNAŞ) (formerly EUAS International ICC) as Program Manager for Sinop NPP project and assigned as Plant Design Engineering Manager in 2019. In 2020, he started to serve as Deputy General Manager, responsible for Engineering Directorate and he is still serving in this position.
At TÜNAŞ, he carries out following activities;
Managing or supporting pre-feasibility, feasibility, due-diligence, strategy and roadmap determination, Plant Owner's Requirements studies within the scope of the projects carried out,
Managing licensing and safety analysis activities,
Managing field studies, site surveys, site selection and site characterization activities,
Improving the capacity and competencies of the Engineering Directorate,
Development and application of decision support tools for design evaluation and technology selection,
It also supports the development of corporate infrastructure such as integrated management system, information management system, project management system and nuclear safety culture.
He is also a member of the Steering Committee of the European Utility Requirements Association (EUR) and Sinop NPP representative at the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO).
He is fluent in English.
