Members include uranium mining, conversion, enrichment and fuel fabrication companies; reactor designers; nuclear power plant operators; nuclear engineering, construction and waste management companies; research organizations; international service providers in nuclear transport, law, insurance, industry analysis and finance; and national nuclear associations. The WNA conducts its activities in three strategic areas as outlined below:

3- Communication
WNA publishes research and reports on the nuclear energy sector worldwide, providing information on developments and trends in the sector. Furthermore, the WNA collaborates with the IAEA, WANO, and OECD-NEA to improve nuclear education and foster nuclear leadership via the World Nuclear University (WNU), which was established in 2003. WNU aims to provide comprehensive leadership, communication and technical training to support the next generation of nuclear leaders.
Various companies and associations from Türkiye are members of the WNA and participate in conferences, seminars, and working groups hosted by the WNA, exchanging knowledge and insights regarding the latest technological developments and strategies in the nuclear energy field. Moreover, these companies and associations benefit from their WNA membership enhancing international representation in the nuclear energy sector and foster greater opportunities for industrial collaboration.
The collaboration between various Turkish companies and associations with WNA enables them to benefit from the developments within the nuclear energy sector through international cooperation and the exchange of information.
